Hotel Domizil Erfurt

Just like the beautiful cathedral city of Erfurt, our hotel is both historic and modern and is fitted with a wide range of features, including lift, rooms with shower/toilet, telephone, free Wi-Fi access, flat screen TV, high-quality box-spring beds (double beds in the sizes 1.80m x 2.00m and 2.00m x 2.00m), air conditioning in all rooms, spacious safe in each room, radio via the TV, hairdryer, illuminated make-up mirror and non-smoking rooms. The hotel was completely renovated in August 2015 using natural and healthier building materials, such as earthen plaster, natural wall paints and floor coverings made of cork.

Our aim is to become a hotel in a class of its own in Erfurt and to offer a personal atmosphere and the highest level of comfort in a historic setting, but with the convenience of modern amenities.

We are located in a listed building on Andreasstraße 36 in Erfurt, and our eleven fully refurbished rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, all in a beautifully historic setting. We have kept the original 17th-century slanted floors and window frames in some rooms, in stylish contrast with the designer bathrooms and high-quality renovation. From the earthen plaster on the walls (including restored plasterwork) to the faux wood tiles and historic wood beams, our rooms have links to over 500 years of Erfurt’s history.

The exclusive beds with box-spring mattresses are levelled to make up for the slanted floors and, with a view of the cathedral, you will be sure to enjoy a very cosy sleep. Let yourself be surprised!
